Data Protection and Privacy Policy- Updated 1 June 2018
 
In the course of our work we may need to collect and store personal data from you to enable us to provide consultancy services (to you).
 
We may need to hold personal data about your employees if we perform consultancy services (e.g., but not limited to, HR, Training, Coaching, Auditing, Project Management, Outplacement Support) on your behalf.
 
We hold data electronically and on paper. Paper files are held securely. Electronic data is password protected and our computers are protected by virus scanning software. We may use Cloud services from reputable providers and where we do we rely on the software provider’s security features and access will be password protected.
 
We will share your data with you or an authorised person only. We will not share your data with any other third party unless we have obtained your authorisation to do so or in circumstances where we have a legal obligation to report to the police or other authority (for example suspected  fraud or acting in an illegal manner).
 
We may communicate with you (and third parties where we have your authority) and send documents by email or other electronic means. The recipient is responsible for virus checking emails and any attachments. We may send unencrypted documents without password protection via email. If you do not agree to receive documents in this way please advise us as soon as possible.
 
We have to retain data for as long as legally required to do so. Our policy is as follows:-
 
Existing clients’ paper files and computerised data will be retained as long as you remain a client.
 
Former clients paper files will be retained for 6 months* from when you ceased to be a client and will then be securely destroyed by a confidential waste disposal service. Electronic files such as CVs, copies of emails containing personal information, client and supplier details (for invoicing purposes), psychometric assessments and stored within our computer systems will be deleted after 6 months*
 
*Unless required by HMRC to be retained for 7 years.
